Terms of Use for Founder Connects and Youth Startup Program

This Agreement is entered into between Founder Connects, a chat-based community for founders, and the individual enrolling as a member (the "Member").

1. Services:

Founder Connects provides a chat-based community platform aimed at supporting founders and facilitating connections with experts and investors. Additionally, the Youth Startup Program (YSP) offers a 12-week immersive virtual program designed for young entrepreneurs to build, launch, and grow their own tech startups. The services offered may be updated or revised from time to time at the sole discretion of Founder Connects.

2. Membership Terms:

Membership is valid for the period stated upon enrollment ("Membership Term") and may automatically renew for additional periods unless membership is canceled for the upcoming month. For the Youth Startup Program, specific enrollment and participation terms will be provided upon application.

3. Payment Terms:

Members agree to pay the membership fee in accordance with the payment terms and pricing presented upon enrollment. The registration fee for the Youth Startup Program covers the entire 12-week program but does not include additional expenses such as personal costs or resources outside the program materials.

4. Member’s Commitments:

Members agree to use the platform in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Founder Connects' policies. Members are expected to contribute positively to the community and engage respectfully with other users.

At Founder Connects, we prioritize a positive and inclusive experience for all members. We expect communication within the community to reflect principles of courtesy, inclusivity, and kindness. The following behaviors are prohibited:

• Harassment or discrimination based on race, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, or disability.
• Use of offensive or abusive language, personal attacks, or threats towards fellow users, staff, or any individuals.
• Posting or sharing explicit, inappropriate, or offensive content.
• Unauthorized sharing of confidential information.
• Spamming or self-promotion.

To maintain a welcoming and constructive environment, we encourage members to:

• Be respectful and empathetic towards others.
• Foster positivity and support in discussions.
• Stay on topic and focused on community objectives.
• Embrace diverse perspectives and engage constructively in discussions.

Founder Connects reserves the right to suspend or terminate services if a member violates community policies or engages in fraudulent activities without any refunds.

5. Confidentiality:

All information shared within the community is confidential and should not be disclosed to third parties without express consent from Founder Connects.

6. Intellectual Property:

All content provided within the platform is owned by Founder Connects and protected by international copyright laws. Members are prohibited from downloading or sharing any course content or other forms of content without prior permission.

7. Refund Policy:

Founder Connects does not offer refunds for membership fees or registration fees for the Youth Startup Program. Once a membership fee or program registration fee is paid, it is non-refundable. Members are encouraged to review the terms and conditions of membership carefully before making a payment. By enrolling as a member or registering for the Youth Startup Program, you acknowledge and agree to the no-refund policy of Founder Connects.

8. Limitation of Liability:

Founder Connects' total liability under this Agreement shall not exceed the total fees paid or payable by the Member for the Membership Term or the Youth Startup Program.

9. Governing Law:

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the UAE.

10. Dispute Resolution:

Any disputes arising from this Agreement will be resolved through mediation.

11. Youth Startup Program Specific Terms:

• Online Application: To begin your application for the Youth Startup Program, visit our application link and provide all required information. Applications are subject to approval, and you will receive a confirmation email if selected. Be sure to pay the registration fee within the given deadline to secure your spot. Failure to make the payment on time may result in your spot being allocated to another deserving applicant.
• Participant Code of Conduct: Participants in the Youth Startup Program are expected to attend all sessions and be punctual, show respect and courtesy to fellow participants and organizers, and reach out to YSP team members if you encounter any issues or need assistance. Additionally, participants should inform the YSP team in advance if they cannot attend any session and provide a reason for their absence.
• Cancellation Policy: Once the registration fee is paid for the Youth Startup Program, it becomes non-refundable in case of cancellation. Please notify us in writing at ysp@founderconnects.com if you need to cancel your participation.
• Changes and YSP Responsibilities: While YSP strives to provide an extraordinary experience, unforeseen circumstances may require changes in activities or arrangements. Founder Connects reserves the right to make such changes without notice due to operational, weather, or other considerations. In cases of misconduct or misbehavior, Founder Connects reserves the right to take appropriate action, including expulsion from the program.
• Epidemic, Pandemic, or Natural Disasters: In the event of an epidemic, pandemic, or natural disaster, Founder Connects reserves the right to postpone or cancel the Youth Startup Program. Please note that Founder Connects does not have a refund policy. However, participants can defer their fee to the next program in case of cancellation. If the program is postponed, participants can join the rescheduled event without additional charges.

12. Founder Connects Responsibilities:

Founder Connects will take care of all costs related to the program, including learning materials and session presentations. However, we do not cover personal expenses or costs related to external resources. Participants are solely responsible for their personal properties during the program.
